Indrayani Polished: Aromatic, polished variety from the natural farms of Tapkir brothers at Mulkhed - just 12-15 km from Pashan. They are milkmen with desi cows, and 7-acre farm where they grow most grains and some vegetables for self consumption only.
Only rice is sold out. Due to the unavailability of labor, they do not go for hand pounding. But are consciously working towards finding some dedicated labour to give us only hand-pounded as we are repeatedly requesting them. the presence of all desi cows at their farm, has made the produce of their farm very tasty and nutritious.

Indrayani Basmati is Only Grown in Ajra, Kolhapur District. Good aromatic arice for Pulav/ Biryani. The grain expands more than twice its dry length during cooking.
Ash gourd, scientifically termed Benincasa hispida, goes by several vernacular names such as “Petha” in Hindi, “Boodida Gummadi” in Telugu, “Neer Pooshnikkai” in Tamil and “Kumbalam” in Malayalam.
